Greetings on behalf of the Columbia (MO) Alumnae Chapter! It is my pleasure as the Chapter President to welcome you to our virtual home. Chartered March 31, 1973, Columbia (MO) Alumnae Chapter has pursued excellence in the areas of Service, Scholarship, and Sisterhood.  We are proud of our rich legacy and remain committed to using our collective talents, resources, and programming to serve Columbia, MO and the surrounding counties in our service area, Audrain, Boone, Callaway, Cooper, Howard, and Randolph counties.

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc is an organization of college-educated women committed to the constructive development of its members and to public service with a primary focus on the Black community.

We are actively engaged in public service projects that are aligned with the sorority’s Five Point Programmatic Thrusts: Economic Development, Educational Development, International Awareness and Involvement, Physical and Mental Health and Political Awareness and Involvement. Additionally, our members also promote Social Action issues.

We offer scholarships to students within our service area  in the namesake of one of our Charter Members, Dr. Muriel Williams Battle. Currently, we are mentoring young ladies aged 11- 14 in our Delta Academy program. Our chapter continues its efforts to register new voters and educate the community on issues that tend to affect our community.

On behalf of the members of the Columbia (MO) Alumnae Chapter, thank you for visiting our website where you will learn more about who we are and what we do in service to the community.
