Columbia (MO) Alumnae Chapter is part of the Central Region, which includes the states of Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Iowa, Nebraska, Wyoming and Oklahoma. This chapter was established March 31, 1973, under the supervision of Jessie Foust, who served as Regional Director at the time. The Columbia (MO) Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta holds the distinction of being the first predominantly Black alumnae sorority organized in Columbia, Missouri under the guidance of Mrs. Saphronia Renfro.
