The Columbia (MO) Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. was chartered March 31, 1973, and we have been hard at work in our community since that time. We are devoted to transforming our community through sisterhood and community service.  We focus on volunteerism, advocacy, public service, and social action.
Soror Spotlight
For this month’s Soror Spotlight we would like to honor Soror Valerie Shaw. Soror Shaw is dedicated to volunteering and community service. She is highly involved in the Columbia community. She loves to apply her leadership skills and always willing to lend a helping hand. She's a member of the Eastern Star, Kiwanis, Columbia Brand NAACP, Links Inc. and a member of Second Missionary Baptist Church. Her ultimate goal is working towards closing the racial disparity gap in Columbia. She is a humble servant to all and never hesitates to support the community and our chapter. We appreciate you, Soror Shaw! Thank you for all you do.
